All water sports are allowed on the lake, however with safety
regulations that must be followed:

• ZONE A - Fishing zone: essentially for fishing and gentle
navigation. Max speed limit 10 km/h.

• ZONE B - Motorboat area with unlimited speed restrictions,
water-skiing, jet skiing, powerboats.

• ZONE C - Sailing area: windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking,
dinghy, pedalo… Motorboats are limited to 10 km/h.

The rental services offered at Mercantine and Bellecin
beaches offer just about all forms of water sports except for
jet-skis.

Also available:
• Cruise boat and sailing school (river and sea licenses)
at Pont de la Pyle.

• Diving: (only with a diving club) at Chartreuse de Vaucluse.

• Canoeing or kayaking on the river “Ain” from Pont de Poitte.
