Lake
Vouglans has three marinas with full facilities:
Port Meix: In 1999, the Jura “Conseil Général”
(departmental council) oversaw
the first marina’s construction at La Tour du Meix, which can
accommodate 270

It is the starting point for all
speed related activities, essentially water-skiing and jet skiing. It
is also the
port of the “Louisiane”, the lakes mini cruise-ship with
multilingual
commentary. Two circuits are available: Beach Mercantine, (1h30 return

and a meal cruise to Vouglans dam (Barrage de Vouglans).

to 130
boats and smaller fishing boats; it is located in the fishing zone (zone
A).
Port Mercantine: Also opened in Spring 2004, Port Mercantine
has
270 moorings; it is located in the sailing zone (zone C). It takes about

spacious facilities to
accommodate the largest of sailing and motorboats
In all, with its three ports, Lake Vouglans has up to 700 moorings.
